Greg Malouf

Greg has 40 years’ experience in high-end real estate development with 25 of them spent as Australia’s number one real estate agent. He developed his agency background from the mid-eighties working alongside leading Sydney and international players such as Ballieu Knight Frank and Richardson & Wrench. It was there that he built alliances with key figures in the finance and property markets that underpinned his future success.

By the early nineties, Greg was building one of Australia’s most successful independent residential agencies in Sydney’s prestigious Double Bay area. With arms in both the multi-million-dollar residential property and project management markets, his businesses developed an enviable distribution network in Australia, being ranked as the leading nationwide agency for over a quarter of a century.

In parallel to the agency world, Greg created a lucrative property development business, delivering a wide range of residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes. He developed hundreds of individual apartments and commercial products including shopping centres and residential resorts. Under Greg’s leadership, Romal Capital is the first developer to be granted access to Peel Holdings’ new Central Dock waterfront land as part of the £5bn Liverpool Waters development. Greg has already delivered three successful planning approvals in Liverpool and his intention is to offer investors first-mover advantage in Peel’s Central Docks neighbourhood.


Sam Rowlands

Sam is a highly experienced real estate developer who in the last four years has delivered more than £150m GDV worth of development across the Northwest and West Yorkshire.

With an extensive knowledge of development and funding structures, he plays a key role in Romal’s corporate strategy including acquisition, planning, procurement and funding. Sam and his team have considerable experience in managing complex construction projects to ensure on-time delivery.

Leading on the acquisition and disposal of mixed-use developments, Sam learned the art of analysing key markets, identifying opportunities and turning concepts into realities by creating attractive packaged investments for the capital markets (both retail and institutional), a skill that has stood him in good stead since.

In 2018 Sam closed a funding and development deal for two Build to Rent opportunities, comprising in excess of 500,000 sq.ft of development, with global investor Heitman, for in excess of £100m.

Louise Pearce

Louise’s extensive experience spans a full range of wealth management, property management and sales environments having started her career in public relations for Chase De Vere Investments before moving into estate agency and financial advice at Countrywide Assured in 2003.

She moved into wealth management in 2005 and spent nine years at HSBC in Liverpool as a senior financial planning manager before moving to work in corporate sales and business development for Inchcape Mercedes Benz.

Louise has a degree in law and politics from the University of Wales, Cardiff and a diploma in financial planning. She is an invaluable member of the Romal Capital Team and provides key input to customer relationships, operations, sales and process.
